Before you start

This guide will show you how to turn off some features on your phone to extend the battery time. Use the guide as a guideline for extending the battery life in situations when in need and the battery is low. Make sure you read all the text in the different steps when turning a service off and remember that it is easily turned on again.

Swipe left

Scroll to and select Settings

Select System

Select Battery saver

Turn on Battery saver and select Battery saver settings

Note: This action will disable your Internet connection and turn off Internet based services when the screen is off.

Check the Turn battery saver on automatically if my battery falls below 20% checkbox

Return to the Settings menu and select Privacy

Select Location

Turn off Location

Note: Your GPS capabilities will be disabled. Remember to activate again when you need GPS services.
