Before you start

This guide will show you how to turn off some features on your phone to extend the battery time. Use the guide as a guideline for extending the battery life in situations when in need and the battery is low. Make sure you read all the text in the different steps when turning a service off and remember that it is easily turned on again.

To close all running apps, select the Recent apps button

Select the Delete icon to close all running apps

Slide down the top menu

Select the v button

Turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth

Deactivating Wi-Fi and Bluetooth will help to save battery.

Turn off Location information

Note: This action will disable your GPS capabilities. Remember to activate again when you need GPS services.

Check the Auto checkbox

Reducing the brightness will reduce battery consumption.

Select the Settings button

Scroll to and select Battery

Turn on Ultra power saving

Select ENABLE

Enabling Ultra power saving mode will make the phone slightly more slow and the screen less bright. Note: This action will disable your Internet connection and turn off Internet based services when the screen is off.
