Before you start

This guide will show you how to update your iPad to the latest software version. Updates give you access to new improvements and fixes bugs on your iPad. It is recommended to back up your iPad before you start this guide.

Select Settings

Select General and Software Update

If your iPad is up to date, you will see the following screen

If your iPad is not up to date, select Download and Install

Follow the instructions on the screen.
