Extend battery life - LG Android

Before you start

This guide will show you how to turn off some features on your phone to extend the battery time. Use the guide as a guideline for extending the battery life in situations when in need and the battery is low. Make sure you read all the text in the different steps when turning a service off and remember that it is easily turned on again. NOTICE: SCREEN IMAGES MAY DIFFER FROM YOUR ACTUAL DEVICE.

Select the Recent apps button

Note: The Recent apps button may be placed elsewhere on your screen or your device.

Select Clear all to close all running apps

Slide down the top menu

Check the Auto checkbox

Reducing the brightness will reduce battery consumption.

Slide down the top menu again

Turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth

Deactivating Wi-Fi and Bluetooth will help to save battery.

Swipe left

Turn off Location

Deactivating the GPS will help to save battery. Remember to activate again when you need GPS services.

Swipe right

Select Battery saver...

Select Turn on

Enabling Battery saver mode will make the phone slightly more slow and the screen less bright.

To enable Maximum power saver mode, select Maximum

Select Turn on

Enabling Maximum power saving mode will make the phone slightly more slow and the screen less bright. Note: This action will disable your Internet connection and turn off Internet based services when the screen is off.
