Import contacts - Huawei Android

Before you start

This guide will show you how to retrieve your contacts from your Google account if your last phone was a smartphone. If your last phone was a non smartphone, you can copy your contacts from the SIM card. Jump to step 9 in this guide, if you want to copy your contacts from the SIM card. NOTICE: SCREEN IMAGES MAY DIFFER FROM YOUR ACTUAL DEVICE.

Select Settings

If you see this screen, select All

If you cannot find All, continue to the next step.

Scroll to and select Google

Select your account

Make sure Sync Contacts / Contacts is selected

Select the Menu button and select Sync now

Note: The Menu button may be placed elsewhere on your screen or your device.

Your contacts from Google will now be synced to your smartphone

To copy your contacts from the SIM card, return to the Home screen and select Contacts

Select the Menu button

Select Import/Export / More

If you see this screen, select Manage contacts

If you cannot find Manage contacts, continue to the next step.

If you see this screen, select the SIM card and select Next

If you cannot see this screen, continue to the next step.

If you see this screen, select your Google account and select Next

If you cannot see this screen, continue to the next step.

Select Import from sim 1/sim 2 / Copy from SIM card

If you cannot see this screen, continue to the next step.

Select 0 selected and Select all or select All

Select IMPORT / COPY / OK

Select your Google account

Your contacts will be saved to your Google account and saved to your phone the next time Google is synced.
