Before you start

If you would like to set up a lock screen on your phone, start from the next step. If you would like to change the SIM pin code, jump to step 12. Make sure you have your Public SIM PIN before you start the guide.

Select Settings

Select Screen lock & passwords

Turn on Screen lock

Select Screen lock

Select Pattern

Draw an unlock pattern and select Continue

Draw the unlock pattern again and select Confirm

Enter a Backup password and select Continue

Confirm your backup password and select OK

Your phone is now secure with a screen lock

To change the PIN for the SIM card, go to the All menu and select Security

Select Set up SIM/RUIM card lock

Select Change SIM PIN

Enter your Old SIM PIN and select OK
